Adams announces the passing of Mr. J.C. Hamilton, Jr., 79, who transitioned Saturday, October 3, 2020 at his Residence.

Adams announces graveside services of Mr. J. C. Hamilton, Jr. which will be held 11:00 A.M., Friday , October 9, 2020.

Viewing will be held from 4 P.M. - 6 P.M., Thursday, October 8, 2020 at the funeral home via our drive-thru.

J.C. Hamilton Jr. was born to the late J.C. Hamilton Sr. and Frances Hamilton.  He was educated in the schools of Fulton County of Atlanta Georgia.  J.C. loved the Lord and served in many capacities at First North East Baptist Church in Columbia South Carolina for many years.  He was a very caring person who enjoyed spending quality time with family.
After completing High School, he joined the U.S. Army and served honorably for 22 years.  He then went to work at Michelin Tire and Rubber Company for 21 years.  He loved deep sea fishing, cooking and golfing.
JC was surrounded by his loving wife Betty and his family.  He is preceded in death by his brother Zebbie Hamilton.  He leaves to cherish his memories of his brothers Sid Hamilton of Atlanta Georgia and Henry Hamilton of Waycross Georgia.  JC raised three children and one grand-daughter.  He is survived by his loving wife Betty Hamilton as well as a host of in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

I n lieu of flowers the family is asking that contributions be made to the American Heart Association in honor of Mr. J. C. Hamilton, Jr.
