With deep respect, we honor the memory of William Slack Sr. "Bill", who passed away on August 3, 2026, at the age of 71. Born on November 8, 1954, William’s journey was marked by enduring dedication to his loved ones, steadfast character, and a quiet strength that left a meaningful impression on all who knew him.

William Slack Sr. will be fondly remembered by family, friends, and the community. Throughout his life, William exemplified the values of integrity and kindness. Known for his gentle demeanor and unwavering support, William graciously impacted many lives, forging bonds that will endure beyond his passing.

To honor his life, a Viewing will be held on Friday, August 14, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Adams Funeral Services, located at 510 Stephenson Avenue, Savannah, GA 31405. Family, friends, and members of the community are invited to pay their respects and share their memories during this time.

A Celebration of Life service will follow on Saturday, August 15, 2026, beginning at 1:00 p.m. at Second Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, 14022 Coffee Bluff Rd, Savannah, GA 31419. This gathering will offer an opportunity to remember and honor William’s legacy in the company of those whose lives he touched.

Although the full tapestry of William Slack Sr.’s life extends beyond what can be captured here, the love, respect, and remembrance he leaves behind are deep and enduring.
