Ruth Patricia Timmons-Thorpe, 53, was born April 30, 1972, in Brunswick, Georgia, and passed away January 18, 2026, in Savannah, Georgia. She was educated in McIntosh County and was known for her strong work ethic and loving spirit.

Ruth loved singing, cooking, reading, enjoying the outdoors, and spending time with the Lord. She faced every challenge with quiet strength, grace, and undeniable determination.

She is survived by her mother, Maude Thorpe; daughters Sabrina Timmons, Courtney Timmons, and Jada Gardner; brother Alonzo Thorpe; six grandchildren; and a host of family and friends. Ruth’s strength, faith, and love will forever live in the hearts of those who knew her.
