Renee Briggs-Carter, born on May 26, 1966, passed away peacefully on July 14, 2026. Renee’s presence touched many lives, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy that will forever be remembered with love and respect.

Through the years, Renee brought warmth, kindness, and grace to those fortunate enough to know her. She was a remarkable woman whose compassion was evident in every aspect of her life. Her unwavering strength and resilient spirit enriched the lives of her loved ones, especially her beloved daughters, Amber Robinson and Raven Evans who survives her and carries forward their mother’s enduring legacy.

Renee’s journey was marked by dignity, purpose, and a heartfelt dedication to family. She made every moment count and approached life’s joys and challenges with grace. Whether offering a comforting word or sharing in moments of celebration, her ability to make others feel valued and seen set her apart.

To honor Renee’s life, family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Adams Funeral Services, 510 Stephenson Avenue, Savannah, GA, on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. There will be no viewing. A Celebration of Life service will be held at The Adams Chapel, 510 Stephenson Ave, Savannah, GA, on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. There will be no viewing. Following the service, Renee will be laid to rest with her husband Carl Davidson Carter at Beaufort National Cemetery located 1601 Boundary St, Beaufort, SC, with burial commencing at 2:00 p.m.
