Otis J. Brock, Jr., affectionately known as "Coach," passed away on January 28, 2026 at his residence surrounded by his beloved wife Dr. Annette Brock and family by his side. He was born on October 17, 1933. Otis lived a life dedicated to education, serving as a principal at Beach High School where he played an important role as an administrator.

His legacy as a coach extended beyond sports; he had a profound impact on many students and staff members throughout his career. Otis was known for his kindness, guidance, and commitment to nurturing the potential in those around him.

A visitation will be held in his honor on Friday, February 6, 2026, at The Adams Chapel located at 510 Stephenson Ave, Savannah, GA from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM. This will be followed by a Celebration of Life service at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 1008 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Savannah, GA on Saturday, February 7, 2026, starting at 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. He will be laid to rest at Lincoln Memorial Cemetery, 525 Leonard Neal Street, Savannah, GA in a burial service beginning at 1:30 PM on the same day.
