Adams announces the passing of Ms. Gladys Evette Drayton, 43, who transitioned on Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at Memorial Health University Medical Center.

Viewing: 12:00 P.M.- 2:00 P.M., Friday, May 1, 2020 at the funeral home .

Graveside services will be held 12:00 P.M., Saturday, May 2, 2020 and are Private.

Gladys Evette Drayton was born March 7, 1977 in Savannah, GA to the late Mrs. Gwendolyn L Drayton.  She was the youngest of 6 siblings.

Evette was educated in the Chatham County Public School System.  She was a free spirit who enjoyed life and having a good time.  Her outgoing personality and friendly nature lead her into the hospitality field where she became assistant manager of a local hotel.  She was a lifelong member of The United House of Prayer for all People.

She leaves to cherish her memory a loving family:  3 daughters; Gweniqua Drayton (DeAndre), Marquella Drayton and Mariah Scott all of Savannah, GA; 1 son, Marcellus Scott of Savannah, GA; 1 granddaughter, Jorde’ Boggs of Savannah, GA; 2 grandsons, DeAndre Boggs, Jr and Marqui Drayton of Savannah, GA; 5 Sisters; Michelle Drayton of Savannah, GA, Joy West (Allen) of Raleigh, NC; Deidra Drayton of Savannah, GA, Janel Hall (Dwayne) of Cary, NC and FaTisha Drayton (Rashenen) of Raleigh, NC;  A special friend, Jamal Baker of Savannah, GA, and a host of other relatives, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
