Adams announces the passing of Ms. Cheryl Denise Hargrove, 59, who transitioned on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at Memorial Health University Medical Center.

Cheryl Denise Hargrove was born and r aised in Brooklyn, NY to Rev. Nathaniel and Mrs. Celestine Hargrove.

Cheryl was the life of the party and loved to laugh and dance. She was loved by all, her energy and positivity was contagious. Even during her time of sickness, she always found the silver lining within the clouds.

To cherish her memory, she leaves behind her parents; sisters Deborah Pendergrass (Coakley) and Tracey Hargrove; nieces Brittny, Brianna, Dominique and nephew Roscoe. Her loved ones include many other family and friends, notably Gary Bradshaw. She is survived by her loving and devoted daughter, Gia Anthony and son-in-law Kendrick Anthony. Her grand-dog Django will also miss her dearly.

Special thanks to Jennifer at Compassus Hospice for providing dignity and comfort as our beloved Cheryl made her transition.

Memorial will be held on what would have been her 60th birthday in November.
