Sharon Michelle Wells was born January 18, 1958 in Pensacola, FL to the late Edwina Arlene Jones and Sidney Brown Harmon. She was educated in the Savannah Chatham County School District and was a graduate of Beach High School.
Sharon was a much-cherished employee of Islands Elementary where she was part of the custodial team before retiring.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Victoria Adger, grandson, Da’Quan Adger, sisters Madeline Johnson, Wanda Harmon, and Valeria Harmon, and brother, Richard Butterfield.
Sharon leaves to cherish her memory her sons, Edward Wells, Jr. (Tremaine) of Durham, NC and Adrienne Adger (Kayla) of Savannah, GA; four grandchildren, Akeya Wells, Jonathan Wells, Draco Adger, and Victoria Adger; one great-grandchild, Kalea Grant; two brothers, Calvin Harmon of Savannah, GA and Dwayne Harmon of Riverdale, GA; and two sisters Tanya Mayhew (Bobby) and Terri Harmon both of Jacksonville, FL; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Sharon's family and friends will gather to honor her memory during a viewing on August 22, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Adams Funeral Services, located at 510 Stephenson Avenue, Savannah, GA 31405. This will offer an opportunity for all who knew her to pay their respects and celebrate the beautiful soul she was.
The following day, a funeral service will be held on August 23, 2025, starting at 11:00 AM at the same location, where stories and memories will be shared, and her remarkable life will be honored. The legacy Sharon leaves behind will continue to inspire those who carry forward her ideals of kindness, generosity, and love.
She will be deeply missed by all who were touched by her spirit; a true testament to a life well-lived.
