Ms. Keisha Marie Timmons

December 8, 1990 — May 19, 2025

Savannah, GA

Ms. Keisha Timmons, lovingly known as Kee Kee or Kay, was born on December 8, 1990, in West Palm Beach, Florida. She departed this world on May 19, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, resilience, and faith that touched the lives of many.

Keisha's career as a line cook at Waffle House was marked not only by her exceptional skills but also by her strong work ethic and unwavering commitment to integrity. Her colleagues knew her as a hardworking and honest employee, always striving to do what was right, often sacrificing her own interests in pursuit of excellence. Her dedication earned her a distinguished place in the "Waffle House Million Dollar Club," a testament to her significant contributions to the company’s revenue. She loved her job deeply and cherished the friendships she formed there, which brought joy and camaraderie to her daily life.

Keisha graduated from Sol C Johnson High School, class of 2008, with a drive to excel and a spirit of determination. She furthered her education at Job Corps, where she received vocational training that equipped her with valuable career-ready skills. While she had a profound love for cooking and baking, she also held a passion for IT, a field she often reflected on with regret for not pursuing further.

Faith was the cornerstone of Keisha's life; she was devoted to God and embodied the qualities of reverence, respect, and awe. Keisha lived her life as a moral compass, striving to act righteously in a world that could often feel chaotic. Her ability to forgive was remarkable, and she demonstrated an extraordinary capacity to release anger and resentment, choosing love and compassion instead.

In her quieter moments, Keisha found solace in reading the Word of God, passionately sharing the teachings she absorbed. She also enjoyed basketball, relishing both the game's excitement and fierce competitiveness. Above all, her proudest accomplishment was raising her son, Christian Anthony Braxton. Keisha often said that he was the greatest joy of her life, a reflection of her strength and love.

Keisha leaves behind a loving family that will forever hold her cherished memories close to their hearts. She is survived by her twin sister Neisha Monique, her beloved son Christian Anthony Braxton, and his father Anthony Braxton. Her life was further enriched by her remaining siblings: Sarah Maroya, Jessica Mehgan, Victoria Maira, Olivia Maya, and Johnell Elizabeth. She was also a proud aunt to her two nieces, Kaylin London and June Michelle, and her two nephews, Torrin Taylor and Elijah James.

Though she has been preceded in death by her mother, Ms. Phyllis Henrietta Timmons, her aunt who helped raise her, Ms. Janet Louvenia Timmons, and her grandmother, Janie Walker Timmons, Keisha's spirit will continue to live on through the love she imparted.

As we gather to remember Ms. Keisha Timmons, we celebrate a woman whose heart was full of love and compassion, a guiding light in the lives of those she touched. Funeral arrangements are still being finalized and will be announced later. Keisha's memory will forever remain a treasure in the hearts of all who knew her.
