Born on June 1, 1956, in Savannah, Georgia, Julie dedicated her life to the noble pursuit of education and the betterment of future generations through her work with the Savannah-Chatham County Board of Education.

A fierce advocate for her students, Julie was known for her unwavering commitment to teaching, her ability to inspire those around her, and her boundless enthusiasm for life. She was, without a doubt, the life of the party; her laughter was infectious, and her spirit shone brightly in every gathering. Friends and family alike will remember her not only for her dedication to her calling but also for her love of leisure activities, particularly her joy in bowling, which brought her happiness and camaraderie.

In her final days, Julie was surrounded by her loving family at her residence in Savannah, GA, a testament to the deep bonds she forged throughout her life. Her warmth and vivacity will be sorely missed, leaving behind a void in the hearts of many.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during the visitation to be held on April 25, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Adams Funeral Services, located at 510 Stephenson Avenue, Savannah, GA. A Celebration of Life will follow on April 26, 2025, starting at 12:00 PM, at the First Bryan Baptist Church, situated at 575 W Bryan St, Savannah, GA.
