Ms. Jacquelyn M. Werner

ADAMS announces the passing of Ms. Jacquelyn M. Werner, 76, who transitioned on Sunday, January 14, 2024.

A celebration of life will be held 10:00 AM, Monday 22, 2024 at Resurrection of Our Lord Catholic Church- 112 Fell St.

Viewing will be held 12 PM to 2 PM Sunday, January 21, 2024 at the Funeral Home.

Interment: Laurel Grove Cemetery.

OBITUARY:

Jacquelyn (Jackie) Marie Werner, 76, was born on February 26th, 1947. She was both a lifelong resident of Savannah, GA, and a lifelong member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, now Resurrection of Our Lord Catholic Church, led in faith by Father Robert Chaney. A woman of deep faith, who prayed constantly for others, Jackie also served the church as a member of the Council of Catholic Women, the Legion of Mary, the Theresians, and the Parish Prayer Ministry.

Jackie spent her final years at Heritage Park, now Pruitt Savannah, where she became president of the Residence Council. Jackie was a beloved daughter, a cherished sister, and a treasured and loving aunt. She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Werner; her mother, Genevieve Graham Werner; and her brother, Edward Charles Werner. Her survivors include her former sister-in-law, Lillian B. Werner; nephews and their spouses Wendel V. and Alison Werner, Dereck C. and Maxine Werner, and Erik C. and Lacy Werner; and niece Wanda K. W. Ebright.
