Ms. Ida Proctor Baker, 76, had her transition on Friday, April 14, 2017 at DeKalb General Hospital in Atlanta Georgia surrounded by her loving family.

Family Visitation: Friday, April 21, 2017  from 7:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Adams Chapel located 510 Stephenson Avenue, Savannah, Georgia.

Funeral Services: Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Benedict the Moor Catholic Church.

Interment following services at Catholic Cemetery.

Obituary:

Ida Cecil Proctor Baker, 76, of Decatur, Georgia, passed away
peacefully on Friday, April 14, 2017.
She was born in Savannah and matriculated in Savannah-
Chatham public schools. She was re*red from the Atlanta Public
Schools System where she worked for many years. She was a
devoted member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and the
Ladies Auxiliary of St. Peter Claver. She was a member of SS
Peter & Paul Catholic Church. Survivors: her son James E. Baker
(Teneshia) of Conyers: three sisters, Olive5 Dobbs of Atlanta,
Margaret Jones and DeVera Wiggins, both of Savannah; three
brothers, Ulysses Proctor of San Diego and Joe Ba5le, Jr. and
Ronald Ba5le, both of Savannah; three grandchildren: Eric
Baker, Javon Baker, and DaMarcus Baker all of Decatur; and a
number of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relaives.
