As a devoted mother, she held a special place in the lives of her children, including her son Errol Scott, who is joined in partnership by Vicki, and her daughters Janet Jones, lovingly accompanied by Ricardo, Jane Hagans, Theresa McClellan with her husband Raymond, and Tunisia Williams. Alethia's family expands further with an abundance of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, each of whom is a vibrant thread in the rich tapestry of her legacy.

The farewell services honoring Ms. Hagans will be held at Adams Funeral Services in Savannah, Georgia, commencing with visitation on April 11, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The funeral service will follow on April 12, 2025, at St. Paul CME Church, starting at 9:00 AM, all culminating with a burial service at Magnolia Memorial Gardens Cemetery at 11:00 AM.
