Mrs. Lela Griffin

Mrs. Lela Griffin, 81, had her transition Sunday, May 17, 2009 at Candler General Hospital surrounded by her loving family and friends.

Funeral service will be held 11:00am Saturday, May 23, 2009 at St. John ""The Mighty Fortress"" Baptist Church, 522-528 Hartridge Street, Rev. George P. Lee, III, Pastor/Eulogist. Public viewing: Friday, May 22, 2009 from 12:00 to 4:30pm at Adams Funeral Services, Inc., 510 Stephenson Avenue. Visitation: Friday, May 22, 2009 from 6:00pm to 7:00pm at the church. Mrs. Griffin will lie in state at the church Saturday from 9:00am until hour of service. Interment: Oak Grove Cemetery, Skidaway Road at 52nd Street, in Savannah, GA.
