Mrs. Jeanette Lockhart Simmons

Mrs. Jeanette L. Simmons, 64, had her transition on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at her residence under the professional care of Hospice of Savannah surrounded by her loving family.


OBITUARY:
Mrs. Jeanette Lockhart Simmons, daughter of the late Ms. Alma Stuart, and daughter of Joseph G. Simmons, Sr., passed into eternal rest on July 30, 2014 at 4:15 am. She leaves behind: her husband; Albert Lee Lockhart; two sons: Gerald Allen Simmons, Sr., and Albert Lamont Lockhart; one daughter; Michelle Lockhart-Miles (Paul); her father; Joseph G. Simmons, Sr., three sisters: Lenora Alma Simmons, Jacqueline Simmons-Bias, and Sandra Elaine Simmons-Smith of Savannah, GA.; one brother; Joseph G. Simmons, Jr. (Priscilla) of Lacey, WA.; 2 granddaughters, 4 grandsons, and four great- grandchildren. Interment will be private.


Visitation for Mrs. Jeanette Lockhart Simmons will be held 3:00 PM, Wednesday, August 6, 2014 in the Adams Chapel.
