Mrs. Annie Lee Beaton

April 23, 1925 — December 18, 2022

Randallstown, Maryland

Mrs. Annie Lee Ledbetter Beaton, age 97, of the Augsburg Lutheran Home, Baltimore Maryland and

formerly of Windsor Forest in Savannah Georgia, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Sunday,

December 18, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.

 

She was born April 23, 1925, to Robert and Julia Ledbetter in Green Pond, South Carolina. She received

Jesus Christ as Savior and was baptized at Mount Zion Baptist Church. She remained faithful until death.

 

Mrs. Beaton attended Savannah public schools and Georgia State College (Savannah State University).

She married Thomas Sears Beaton, who predeceased her. Of that union there are two daughters. For

over thirty-five years she was employed as a caseworker at Chatham County Department of Children Services.

 

She leaves to cherish her memories daughters, Juliette Beaton Mitchell, Bernadette Beaton Campbell,

and son-in-law, Otis Mitchell. Grandchildren, Thomas S. Mitchell, wife Wendy, Dwayne E. Mitchell, wife

Crystal, Leslie P. (Mitchell) Carter, husband Gregory and Brian C. Campbell.

 

Great grandchildren: Anissa P. (Campbell) Cullins, husband Tyler, Malayna G. Mitchell, Julianna G.

Mitchell, Janelle A. Campbell, London S. Carter, Sasha R. Mitchell, and Christopher J. Campbell.

 

Great great grandchildren, Matthew T. Cullins, Jonah T. Cullins, Bellamy Cullins, Emmett Cullins, and a

host of other relatives and friends.

 

Funeral service is private to the family.
