Adams announces the passing of Mr. Robert Hartwell, 66, who transitioned on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at the Medical University of South Carolina.
Mr. Robert Nelson Hartwell, Sr., 66, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 10, 2018, at the Medical University of South Carolina. Robert was a retired cabinetmaker.
He was predeceased by his parents, Walter R. and Mary Alice Hartwell; and sisters, Constance Cooper and LaJeanne Grinnage. Survivors include a son, Robert Nelson Hartwell, Jr., (Euphemia); two brothers, Walter R. Hartwell (Jewell) and Charles G. Hartwell, and two sisters Mary Alice Polite and June W. Brown. He also leaves behind four grandchildren and a host of adoring nieces, nephews and other family members.
Adams announces the Funeral Services for Mr. Robert Hartwell, 2:00 P.M., Friday, February 16, 2018 at Second African Baptist Church. Visitation: 6:00 until 7:00 P.M. Friday in the Adams Chapel. Interment: Laurel Grove Cemetery.
