Adams announces the Funeral Services for Mr. Charles Nelson, II, 11:30 A.M., Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Compassion Christian Church, 55 Al Henderson Blvd. (Adult Ministry Building).

Public Viewing: 4:00 - 6:00 P.M. in the Adams Chapel, Friday, October 8, 2021.

Interment: Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery.

OBITUARY:

Charles Nelson II, departed this life on September 26, 2021. He met the love of his life Vicky Nelson, 21 years ago and they were joined in holy matrimony for 11 years.

Charles was born in Huntsville, Alabama on February 11, 1972.   He is the son of (Ret) Lt. Col Charles Nelson and Shahpar (Sherry) Nelson.  He graduated from Benedictine Military School in 1990.  He attended Savannah State University and South Carolina State University from 1993-1996. He was a member in good standing and dedicated to the Altamaha Lodge 321 in Jesup, Georgia.  He was self-employed as an owner operator in the trucking business.

Charles will always be remembered for his heart of gold, infectious smile. He was very passionate and caring when it came to the needs of others.  Charles loved his family and close friends, but he had a very special place in his heart for his wife, mother, daughter, and baby sister.

Charles is survived by his wife, Vicky Nelson, Hinesville, GA, daughter, Charlae Brooke Nelson, Savannah, GA, father, (Ret.) Lt. Col Charles and mother, Shahpar (Sherry), Nelson, Savannah, Georgia, brother, Shahriar Beiglou, North Hollywood, CA, sisters, Natalie Nelson Terry (Eric), Savannah, GA and Christina Nelson, Savannah, GA, nephew, Bryson Terry and niece, Cheniyah Jackson, several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many special friends.
