Mr. Steven Hamilton "Bo Kat"

Adams announces the passing of Mr. Steven Hamilton, 66, who transitioned on Tuesday, January 7, 2025.

A celebration of life will be held 1 PM Saturday, January 18, 2025 at New Shiloh Baptist Church located 661 E. Broughton St., Savannah, GA 31401- Tony Reddick, Pastor.

Viewing will be held from 12 PM to 2 PM Friday, January 17, 2025 at the funeral home.

Burial: Woodville Cemetery.

Steve Hamilton was born June 12, 1958 to Mr. John Hamilton and Mrs. Ellen Hamilton in Savannah, Georgia. He was affectionately called “Bo Kat” . Steve entered eternal rest on January 7, 2025.

Steve was educated in the public schools of Chatham County. He was a longshoreman and a lifelong resident of Savannah. Steve worked for ILA Local 1414/ Steve was an avid hunter and he loved to fish. Steve was a person who loved his family and his friends dearly. He will be remembered by everyone whose lives he touched. Steve was preceded in death by his father, John Hamilton and his mother, Ellen Hamilton; his brother Johnny Hamilton and his sisters Elise Hamilton, Martha Hamilton and Firzana Hamilton.

His precious memories will be cherished by his loving and devoted sister, Mary Jackson ; two sons, Jonathan and David Hamilton ; sister in law, Sandra Hamilton; a special niece Ebony Hamilton; a dedicated friend , James Campbell and a host of nieces, nephews, grand- nieces, grand- nephews , cousins and other loving relatives and friends.
