Robert L. Vaughn, 80, had his transition on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at his residence.

Funeral service for Mr. Robert L. Vaughn will be held 12:00 P.M., Saturday, October 22, 2016 at True Love Missionary Baptist Church located 777 E. Gwinnett St.

Interment: Oak Grove Cemetery.

Robert "Bobby" Vaughn passed on October 6, 2016 at his residence.  Bobby was a Educator, Musician, Humanitarian and friend to many. Funeral Services will be held 12:00 pm, Saturday October 22,  at True Love Missionary Baptist Church, 777 East Gwinnett Street,  Savannah, Ga 31401. Rev. Raphael Watson, officiating. Interment Oak Grove Cemetery. He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 + years, Dorothy Burnett Vaughn. He is survived by sons: Eric Vaughn (Germany), Thaddeus Vaughn and Rolin Orr (Savannah ), sister Jacqueline Vaughn Polote (Decatur), uncle Lewis Vaughn, Sr. (Savannah). 11 grand-children, 9 great-grand and a host of relatives and friends. Bobby and Dot raised their granddaughter Sierra Love-Gibbs and great- granddaughter Langelea Graham.
