Mr. Peter Cummings, Jr., 69 had his transition on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at Candler Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Funeral services for Mr. Peter Cummings, Jr. will be 1:00 P.M., Monday, October 27, 2014 at Christ Memorial Baptist Church, Pastor Larry Broxton, Pastor.


Public Viewing: Sunday from 12:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home.


Mr. Cummings will rest in serenity at 11:00 A.M. until the hour of service.


Interment: Woodville Cemetery.


OBITUARY:
Mr. Peter William Cummings, Jr., the son of the late Doretha Cummings and the late Peter Williams Cummings Sr., was born on December 17, 1944 in Savannah, GA.

Peter was a graduate of Sophronia M. Tompkins High School, class of 1964, in Savannah, GA. He was a retired Vietnam and Gulf War Veteran for more than 20 years. He was a retired welder at then, Union Camp. He was a member of the Omar Temple Shriners # 21. He was also a member of Christ Memorial Baptist Church.

His demise on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 left a pall of sorrow on his family, friends and associates.

Mourning his passing are wife Betty J. Cummings; son Isreal Terrell Cummings (Roberta); grandson, MarKeith Terrell Cummings; great-grandson, Markeith Terrell Cummings, Jr.; two nephews, Harry Smith and Eugene Smith(Mae) both of Tallahassee, FL; niece Retha Smith of Tallahassee, FL; two special and devoted friends ""brothers"" Kelly Roberts of Tallahassee, FL and Hollie Moultrie ""Bubba"" of Boston, MA and a host of step-children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
