Adams announces the passing of Mr. Oscar Fuller, 82, who transitioned on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at his Residence. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time.

Oscar Lee Fuller was born on August 19,1941 in Mulga, Alabama.  He was the eldest of six children born to Joe and Lucille Fuller.

He attended Alabama Public schools then joined the United States Air Force.  He proudly served his country for 30 years with tours to Vietnam, Korea, Japan, Okinawa, Spain and a multitude of other places far and wide.  He retired in 1988, and moved to Savannah Georgia.  Shortly thereafter he began a second career as a certified mechanic for the Chatham Area Transit Authority.

Oscar married Dora Mae Fuller of Little Rock, Arkansas June 6, 1964. His one true Love.  This union brought 54 years of marriage and two children Mechelle and Oscar Jr. She preceded him in death on March 6, 2018

He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter, Mechelle Gladney (Gary) and Son, Oscar Jr. both of Savannah Georgia. Three grandchildren Morgan Lynn Fuller of Newark DE , Jailyn Kristine Gladney (Max Peterson) of Washington DC, Julian Gladney of Chicago IL and one great grandchild Ahmir Mosi Fuller-Wright. A host of nieces and nephews of Savannah Georgia, Arkansas, Alabama, and Ohio will also mourn his loss.

He had a fierce love for his family, he was a devoted father and husband and worked hard his entire life to ensure that his family had all that they needed.  He was a quiet, and strong man that cared deeply.  He will be missed by all the people he cared about, by those that looked up to him and all of us who loved him.

He died at home with us.  We are eternally thankful to Angela Scott (the real MVP) for her loving and compassionate care and support.  He will take his eternal rest with a pure heart knowing he had done his best, and had gone far beyond the call of duty during his 82 years on this earth.

A graveside service will be held in Little Rock Arkansas at a future date.
