Adams announces the passing of Mr. Kenneth Frazier, 59, who transitioned on Thursday, May 30, 2024 at Memorial Hospital.

Viewing will be held from 4 PM - 6 PM, Thursday, June 6, 2024 at the funeral home. 

A Memorial service will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, June 7, 2024 in The Adams Chapel.

Obituary

Kenneth “ Black” Frazier was born July 19, 1964 in Savannah Georgia.  He attended Savannah High School. He was employed by Dan Sheehan Construction Company before he began to experience health challenges. 

Kenneth was fun and full of life. He was fond of spending time with his friends and family.  He was known for giving many of them nicknames, jokingly addressing them by such names, in turn he was given the nickname “Black”.  He loved eating good food, especially when prepared by his mother and sisters.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Harris, stepfather, Robert Lee Modest, grandmother- Carrie Lexley Whitehead, nephews- Jamal Bryant and Keith Drayton, Jr.  He passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, May 30, 2024 at Memorial Health University Medical Center.

Kenneth is survived by his loving mother Ruby Mae Frazier Modest, six siblings - Shirley Evans, Barbara (Lee) Bryan, Anthony Bryant, Melvin (Carolyn) Bryant, Terry (Stephanie) Bryant, all of Savannah and Patricia B.  Drayton of Jonesboro Georgia; one aunt, Dorothy Bates of Savannah; one uncle, Willie Lee (Linda) Whitehead of Garden City Georgia. “Special friend” Jamie Young of Savannah, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
