Mr. Johnnie C. Milner, 70, had his transition on Friday, March 17, 2017 surrounded by his loving family at St. Joseph’s Hospital.

Funeral Services: Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 11:00 AM

Tremont Temple Baptist Church, 1110 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.

Interment: Magnolia Memorial Gardens.

OBITUARY:

Johnnie C. Milner born 1/1/1947 died 3/17/17 at 1:10pm at St. Joseph’s Hospital Savannah, GA. He attended the public schools of Savannah-Chatham County and was a 1965 graduate of Alfred E. Beach High School.  Johnnie served his country during the Vietnam War as an Army Infantryman.  Upon return, he attended Savannah State College earning a B.S. degree in Political Science in 1972.  J.C. retired from CSX Railroad.

John left to cherish his memory:  his loving wife Emily M. Milner; his children:  Ronetta Milner-Gardner, Jenise (Romondo) Milner-Stewart, Aaron Milner, Ariel J. Milner, Laura Milner and a special son in-law James Gardner; his grandchildren: Gabrielle Gardner, Janasia Harley, DeVonte Thompson, and Kelsey Stewart; his siblings:  Willie Washington, Gail Palmer, Debra Palmer, and Darlene Palmer.
