Mr. John Henry Keith, 87 peacefully entered eternal rest on Thursday July 20, 2023, at his home under the care of Hospice Savannah. John Henry will be sadly missed by both his family and friends. He was born in Baltimore, Maryland on December 21, 1935. As a child he later moved to Savannah, Georgia along with his parents the late Paul and Ethel Keith. He attended the public school system of Chatham County. John Henry was a retired member of the International Longshoremen Association where he worked for over 30 plus years. John Henry was preceded in death by his brothers and one sister the late Arnold Bole Sr., Richard West, Nathaniel Keith, Christina Keith: One daughter the late Anita W. Truley. 

 

He  leaves to cherish his memories: daughters: Sandra Bryant of Jersey City, NJ, Patricia A. Truley of Savannah, GA, sons: John Eugene Keith and Kendall Jarmaine Keith both of Savannah, GA, Tyrone Bennett (Sally Bennett) of Mariette, GA., Danny Martin (Lurline) of Atlanta, GA ., One sister: Elnora Brown of Savannah, GA.; grandchildren: Ashley Stevens, Chyrisse Bryant, Cameron E. Hayes Jr., Destiny A. Hayes,  Kendall Jermaine Keith, Jr., Kentrell Keith, Fakhrad Martin, Ibrahiym Martin, and Enos Martin, great grandchildren: Christian and Camilla Bryant-Best, Tirany A. Stevens a host of loving nieces, nephews, and devoted friends. Two loving sisters: Angeline Rhoe and LaTeresa Reynolds both of Savannah, GA.
