Mr. Edger Wright, Sr

Mr. Edger Wright, Sr., 83, had his transition on July 10, 2008 at home in New York. A Native of Orangeburg, S.C., moved to New York where he lived most of his life. Mr. Wright retired as a painter for the City of New York. He was a member of Rocky Hill Baptist Church, Moncks Corner, S.C., and a life long member of the Prince Hall Masonic Lodge. Mr. Wright was preceded in death by his parents; David & Janie Wright, and two sons: Edgar Wright, Jr., and Timothy Phoenix.

He leaves to cherish is memories: wife, Frances Wright of Manhattan, N.Y.; three daughters, Linda Harris (Marvin) of Savannah, GA., Geraldine Phoenix of Queens, N.Y., Felice Washington (Seymore) of Brookyln, N.Y.; two son, Kerney Wright (Joyce) of Savannah, GA, Michael A. Wright of Savannah, GA.; three sister-in-laws, three brother-in-laws, host fo grandchildren, great-grand children, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
