Mr. Benjamin Dempsey, 79, had his transition on Wednesday, July 9, 2014, surrounded by his loving family, at Riverview Nursing Home.
OBITUARY:
Mr. Charles Benjamin Harrison Dempsey entered rest on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at Riverview Nursing Home under the professional care of Compassionate Care Hospice.
He was a native of Savannah, GA and attended Chatham County public school.
Survived by four daughters; Janice Dempsey, Betty (Dwight) Walls, Joi (Jahrail) Williams Elizabeth Eady all of Savannah, GA; six sons; Jerome (Beverly) Dempsey, Clyde (Maude) Dempsey, Donald (Cecilia) Dempsey, Benjamin (Jesse) Dempsey, James Dempsey, Dennis (Tonya) Holland all of Savannah. Two brothers: Wilbun (Amelia) Dempsey, David (Rose) Dempsey, Savannah, GA; three sisters: Lottie Johnson, York, PA; Earthaleen Dempsey Riley, Merritt Island, Florida; Davita Dempsey Henderson, Cocoa, Florida
Funeral services will be held 11:00am., Monday, July 14, 2014 at Adams Funeral Services Chapel, Pastor Timothy Shephard , Officiating.
