Michelle Denise Hopkins was born in Savannah, Georgia on November 28, 1979 to Annie Lee Mack and Roy Ulmer. She fell asleep in death on June 30, 2026.

Michelle was a graduate of Windsor Forest High School. She earned her Bachelor of Health Science in Child Development and also her Master of Arts Professional Communication and Leadership at Armstrong Atlantic College.

She was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on April 19, 2015. Michelle extended her time in the ministry by pioneering for a time. One of her greatest joys was teaching others about Jehovah wherever she was able.

Michelle leaves behind her mother Annie Lee Mack and step-father Alvin Mack, her four sisters Alfreda Canty (husband Herman), Blanche Hopkins, Lisa Avila (husband Miguel), Jessica Williams, and one brother Carlos Ulmer. She is preceded in death by her father Roy Ulmer and older brother Richard Hopkins. She will be missed by all of us because of her sweet and kind nature along with her bright smile.

We truly appreciate everyone’s texts, phone calls, meals and visits by the house, private prayers, and words of encouragement. The list goes on and on. There are not enough words to express how we feel being wrapped in your love and kindness.

Her funeral service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses 2605 Carmel Ave Savannah GA 31406, at 1:00 PM on July 11, 2026.

There will be no repass after the funeral.
