Margaret C. Steed, known affectionately as Rita, passed away on February 11, 2026. She will be remembered for her warm spirit and the joy she brought to those around her.

A Celebration of Life will be held on February 25, 2026, at Bethlehem Baptist Church located at 1008 May St in Savannah, Georgia. The service will begin at 11:00 AM. 

Following the celebration, Rita will be laid to rest at Woodville Cemetery on Roberts St, also in Savannah.

Rita’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She touched many lives with her kindness and generosity, and her legacy will continue through the love she shared.
