Lillie P. Welcome

Mrs. Lille Pearl Welcome, 85, had her transition on Feb. 13, 2010 under the excellent and professional care of Hospice Savannah. She was a native of Montecello, GA. Mrs. Welcome was a faithful member of the First Mt. Sinai Baptist Church and was a member of Choir Number 1, Celestial Choir and Pastor Aide Board. She is survived by; Sons, Cordell R. Welcome of Atlanta, Ga., William (Essie) Welcome of Macon, Ga. and Edward M. Welcome of Savannah, Ga.; Daughters, Margaret Jackson, Virginia Ann Williams (Nate), Mary (Jackie) Williams, Wanda (David) Rountree, Ellen Welcome, and her adopted daughter, Laura N. Singleton, all of Savannah, Ga.; 16 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Lillie Pearl Welcome will be held 11:00a.m. Saturday Feb. 20, 2010 at First Mount Sinai Baptist Church; Pastor Shannon O. Smith, Eulogist

Interment: Oak Grove Cemetery

Viewing: Friday Feb. 19, 2010 from 10:00a.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Adams Funeral Services
