Leonie Ethelynn Piper-Smart was born on December 18, 1945, in Plymouth, Montserrat, W.I. She passed away on May 1, 2026, in Savannah, Georgia, Surrounding by her family.

Leonie lived a meaningful life and will be remembered by many. Her life will be honored in a Viewing on May 15, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Adams Funeral Services located at 510 Stephenson Avenue in Savannah, GA. Following that, a Celebration of Life will be held on May 16, 2026, starting at 11:00 AM and ending at 12:00 PM at First Jerusalem Baptist Church, 4370 Acl Blvd, Savannah, GA.
