John Sheppard

Mr. John Sheppard, 81, made his eternal transition into the arms of Jesus, Sunday, August 10, 2008.
A native of Jacksonville, Florida, Mr. Sheppard received an Honorable Discharge from the United States Army after serving twenty-five years in the Korean War.

Survivors: his loving and devoted wife of fifty-seven years, Frances Sheppard; two children: Johnny Sheppard and Johnetta (Vernon) Charles; sister, Vivian White of Jacksonville, FL; five grands: Robert L. Robinson, Jr., Jomar Robinson, Catina Harvey, Darryl and Omami Sheppard; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service: 11:00, Saturday,August 16, 2008 at Davis Ark Baptist Church, 1220 Sherman
Avenue, Savannah, Georgia 31405, Rev. Herman Woods, Pastor. Public viewing: Friday, August 15, 2008 from 12:00 noon - 8:00pm at Adams Funeral Services, Inc, 510 Stephenson Avenue Street 31405. In state: 9:00am until hour of service. Interment: Lincoln Memorial Cemetery, Savannah, Georgia 31405
