James Williams, Jr., affectionately known as "Pookie," was born on October 1, 1976. He passed away at his residence on January 25, 2026, surrounded by family.

James worked in security at various venues, dedicating his life to protecting and serving those around him. He was known for his funny, kind, smart, and strong personality, which left a lasting impression on everyone he met.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during a viewing on February 6, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Adams Funeral Services located at 510 Stephenson Avenue, Savannah, GA 31405. 

A Celebration of Life will take place the following day, February 7, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the Temple of Glory, 1105 Stiles Ave, Savannah, GA 31415.

Burial will take place at Woodville Cemetery where he will be laid to rest near his Mother and Father.

James will be remembered for his warmth, dedication, and the joy he brought into the lives of others. His spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
