Gwendolyn Reed, a dedicated member of the SCCPSS community, passed away on April 15, 2026, in Savannah, Georgia. She was born in Savannah on July 10, 1959, and lived her life rooted in the city she called home.

A viewing to honor Gwendolyn will be held on April 24, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Adams Funeral Services, located at 510 Stephenson Avenue, Savannah, GA 31405. Following this, her funeral service will take place on April 25, 2026, beginning at 11:00 a.m. and concluding at noon at Tremont Temple Missionary Baptist Church, 1110 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Savannah, GA 31415.

Gwendolyn’s life and work with SCCPSS touched many. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her in Savannah and beyond.
