Mrs. Evelyn Gathers Morgan, 65 had her transition Tuesday, December 30, 2008 at Memorial Health University Medical Center, surrounded by her loving and devoted family.

Survivors: husband,Charles ""Tank"" Morgan; daughter, Alicia Jackson and her husdand Marvin; three sons: Ronnie ""Omar"" Gathers. Timothy Ford and Mark Ford; four sisters: Patricia Welch, Brenda Hemingway, Michelle Bell and Judy Days-Dee; two brothers: Michael Gathers-Sherman and Robert Gathers-Sherman, five grandsons; four great-grandsons; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

Visitation: Friday, January 2, 2009 from 6:00pm - 7:00pm at Adams Funeral Services, Inc. Chapel, 510 Stephenson Avenue, Savannah, Georgia 31405.

Funeral service: Saturday, January 3, 2009 at Central Missionary Baptist Church, 738 Hitch Drive (Hitch Village), Savannah, Georgia 31401, Rev. Larry J. Stell, Pastor.

Interment: Woodville Cemetery, Roberts Street (West Savannah).
