Ellavee Polite Cook

Mrs. Ellavee Polite Cook, 74, had her transition Monday, March 16, 2009 in Potomac, Maryland, surrounded by her loving and devoted family.

She attended the public schools of Chatham County and later moved to Rockville, Maryland.

""Ellavee"", as she was affectionately called, was a faithfull member, Usher and Missionary for many years at Scotland AME Church, where she served on the Trustee Board.

Mrs. Cook husband, Arthur Cook, her parents, Munch Polite and Elizabeth Polite, preceded her in death.

She leaves to celebrate her life and memories: a brother, Hosie Polite of Savannah, Georgia; two sisters: Mary Dean Daniels and Janet Polite; two sisters-in-law: Josephine Polite andd Ellavina Polite; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
