David
Culver, Jr.
Jun 30, 1966 — Aug 15, 2026
Savannah, GA
David Culver Jr., born on June 30, 1966, in Jersey City, New Jersey, to the late David Culver Sr. and Bertha Mae Larry, passed away unexpectedly on August 15, 2026. David moved to Savannah, Georgia at a young age and attended Chatham County Public Schools. He later received technical training through Job Corps. He used his trade skills throughout Savannah, where he became well known for his kind heart, generous spirit, and contagious laughter.
David married the love of his life, Stephanie Culver, who remained faithfully by his side until his untimely passing.
He was preceded in death by his brother Frank Larry and his niece Cassandra Bias, both of whom he adored.
David was a devoted grandfather and uncle—whether babysitting, helping out, or simply spending time with the little ones and the big ones who loved to keep him on his toes. Family was the center of his world, and he cherished every moment spent with them. David leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Stephanie Culver; his children Kenisha Marshall Fields (Franky), Kendra Jones (Travis), and Kevin Biggins; his sister Nancy Bias Smart (Greg); his brother Abbot Larry; his aunts Rose Reed and Barbara Biggins (Mark); his uncle's William Larry and Harold Larry (Gail); and his nephew Andre T. Bias Sr. (Latisha). He also leaves behind thirteen grandchildren, who affectionately called him Pop Pop, along with a host of great‑nieces and great‑nephews who loved him dearly.
His legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him.
