IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Charles Tyrone
Fields, Sr.
September 21, 1958 – February 4, 2026
Charlie Tyrone Fields, affectionately known to many as Aimee, left this world on February 4, 2026, at Memorial Medical Center. Born on September 21, 1958, in Savannah, Georgia, he was a lifelong resident of the area, sharing his warmth and vibrant spirit with all who crossed his path.
Charlie’s life was marked by a profound love for cooking, where he flourished as a dedicated cook at various restaurants across the Savannah area. His culinary talents were renowned and he often loved to brag about how good he could cook, bringing smiles to friends and family alike. Alongside his work in the kitchen, Charlie also contributed his skills to the construction industry, embodying a strong work ethic that many admired.
Charlie was educated in the Chatham County school system, laying the foundation for a life filled with hard work and dedication. His interests were diverse, spanning from fishing to riding his bicycle around Forsyth Park. It was here, amidst the trees and laughter of friends, that Charlie cherished many moments of camaraderie and joy.
He leaves behind his beloved family, including two sons, Corinthian Fields and Charles Fields Junior, along with his daughter-in-law, Latera. His family connections were deepened by his three sisters: Rosalie Graham, Janet Parker, and Priscilla Grant, and his six brothers: Ernest Fields Junior, Michael Fields, Clarence Fields(Jean) George Fields(Jeannie) Dennis Fields, and Damon Grant. He also shared a close bond with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, with a special mention of Miss LaDonna Johnson, who brought remarkable light into his life.
Charlie was pre-deceased by his dear parents, Ernest and Annabelle Fields, whose love and guidance shaped the man he became.
As we gather to celebrate the life of Charlie Tyrone Fields, we remember the laughter, the stories, and the unwavering spirit of a man who truly embraced life. Preceding his funeral service on February 12, 2026, friends and family are invited to pay their respects during the viewing on February 11 at Adams Funeral Services, located in Savannah.
