Adams announces the passing of Mrs. Mary Eady, 75, who transitioned on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Memorial Health University Medical Center.
Mrs. Mary Lois Williams Bryant Eady was born on February 16, 1943 in Swainsboro, Georgia to the late Fred Williams and Sarah Williams Bryant. She was elevated to her eternal home on Saturday May 19, 2018 after a long illness. She was the oldest of nine siblings. She was united in Holy Matrimony to Joseph Robert Eady Jr. on April 19, 1962. From this union six children were born. They lived in Paterson, New Jersey for several years before they decided to return to Savannah, to raise their family. She worked as a nurses aide for many years at Hunter Army Airfield Hospital before leaving the workforce to become a homemaker. She was a member of the International F & M Masons and Order of the Eastern Star for over 15 years where she served as a past worthy matron for Mahalia Chapter 29B She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Eady Jr. and her brother Robert Lee Bryant. She was also preceded in death by a son Travis Eady. She is survived by her children three daughters; Gwendolyn Jackson-Middleton (Donald), Candis Eady and Neco (Nicki) Wright; and four sons Lorenzo Eady, Joseph Allen Eady ( Kathy), Robert Anthony Eady (Joann) and James Eady Sr. One stepdaughter, Judy Davis; Adopted children; Deme Trius Eady, MaliQik Eady, Robert A. Eady, Rasheen Eady, Tony Eady, Tonisha Eady and Travis Eady; thirty-two grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Survived by her siblings, five brothers; James Bryant, Edward Bryant (Stephanie) Vernon Bryant, George Bryant (Wanda), Donald Bryant and two sisters Elizebeth Eady (Holbrooks) and Linda Gail Bryant. Mother in law Evangelist Lavenia Eady, Sister in laws Annie Ruth Grant of St. Petersburg, FL , Mary Jane Eady of Atlanta, Georgia, One brother in law Holbrooks Eady of St. Petersburg, FL. There was never a day that her house was not filled with her grandchildren, great -grandchildren and anyone else that came to her with a need. If you were hungry she fed you; If you were thirsty she gave you something to drink; If you were homeless, she gave you a place to lay your head.
Adams announces the Funeral Services for Mrs. Mary Eady, 12:00 P.M., Saturday, May 26, 2018 at First Tabernacle Baptist Church.
Visitation: 6-7 P.M., Friday in the Chapel.
Interment: Hillcrest Abbey East.
